Brendan DeVoue

Brendan is a PPR and PTR certified coach and 5.0-level player with 18+ years competing in racket sports and 16 years of teaching experience. He brings a deep understanding of technique, strategy, and the mental game to every session. He holds gold at the 4.5+ tournament level and combines his competitive drive with a fun, supportive coaching style.

Brendan was introduced to pickleball by his wife Shané and started playing at Miller Park in Capitol Hill. A Northeastern University graduate who brings energy for competition and community into the sport — he co-founded Wave Pickleball to bring people together and feel their best on and off the court. What started as small events has grown into a thriving in-person and online community, with a few viral videos along the way.
