Side Out Tsunami Hosts First Ever APP Pro Pickleball Tournament in Seattle
Seattle pickleball fans showed up in a big way this past weekend as Side Out Tsunami hosted its first ever APP professional tour event. Hundreds of amateur and professional players competed across multiple divisions, drawing strong local attendance throughout the weekend.
The event marked a major milestone for the Seattle pickleball community. Bringing a national level tour stop to the Pacific Northwest signals continued growth of the sport locally. Hometown favorites including Thomas Yu, Noah Zwiren, James Yu, Riley Inn, Max “Purple Jesus” Manthou, and Vivian Glozman competed in front of an energetic crowd.
In addition to pro matches, hundreds of amateur players participated across skill and age divisions. The mix of professional level play and local competitors created a competitive but welcoming environment for players and spectators alike.
Championship matches delivered high level shot making, fast hands battles, and long rallies that kept fans engaged throughout the weekend.
